Gary B. Chapman, Ph.D., J.D., joined Greenlee Sullivan as an associate attorney in 2004. Dr. Chapman has been a patent agent, technical consultant, and law clerk with the firm since 2002 before passing the Colorado State bar. Dr. Chapman has an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario in Medical Biophysics and a Master's degree and doctorate from the University of Rochester in Biophysics, with research experience in cardiovascular medicine, microfluidics, medical instrumentation and modeling of biological systems. Prior to law school, Dr. Chapman was a Research Associate in the Department of Bioengineering at Rice University and the Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Chapman has experience drafting and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, infringement opinions and patentability opinions.
